Best view of Barcelona

It’s easy to drown in a city, with all that occurs in busy urban areas. So it is refreshing to look from a high point and gain perspective on the entire scene.

Those who visit Parc Güell with its Gaudi art, have also been able to enjoy the beautiful view over Barcelona. If you are one of those who like to climb to the top, we recommend you visit the ‘Búnquers del Carmel’. At the top of ‘Parc del Guinardo’ you will have a 360 degree view of Barcelona. The view extends from the sea to the mountains.

For those interested in history, there is an exhibition in one of the old bunkers that tells more about the significance of this place during the Spanish civil war and World War 2. Once there were cannons here and in later times an artillery installation.

Take the metro to ‘Alfons X’ and walk up the paths and steps. Bring some water and a snack, then enjoy the view!
